Job Description	MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: This position will work at Tata Steel Group (TSG) level and will create sourcing strategies and contracts for IT Products and Services for Tata Steel Group. To establish and define scope of IT Products and Services category for Global, Regional and Local sourcing opportunities. To get Buy-in from all stakeholders and customers on key strategies and decision. Ensure purchasing activities support the global IT strategy. Contractually build process efficiency, cost competitiveness & innovation. Drive synergistic buy by conducting enterprise-wide negotiations, and providing enterprise-wide contractual and commercial advice. Conclude contracts on time by working closely with regional and local networks. To drive and achieve sourcing and contracting best practices through benchmarking. Accountability for delivery of savings and reporting the same. Ensuring an appropriate governance structure and process across TSG. Roll out IT sourcing related global improvement programs. As a Central Buyer, responsible for achieving annual and long term objectives. Arrange interface network of Business stakeholders and hub functional experts. Strategic/tactical engagement responsible for commercial strategy, contracting, price and arranging a robust delivery process. KEY ACTIVITIES: • " Develop long term direction and sourcing strategy for entire TSG • " Create Global and scalable contracts • " Develop cost reduction strategies and programs • " Acquire new world class and innovative IT suppliers and service providers • " Develop and conduct review plan • " Develop annual strategy plan after interacting with all relevant stakeholders • " Create negotiation strategies & execute in a manner that upholds TSG's interest • " Communication and meeting customers regularly • " Create synergy buy plan with Tata Steel Europe and SE Asia based companies and any other unit covered by the Group Information Services (GIS) team. Desired Profile	Work Experience in the following functions: - Technical knowledge of IT products & services and their cost drivers, Buying or selling experience (commercial knowledge) of any services will be an added advantage, Global commercial experience in trading or related area. Graduate in any discipline of Engineering / Engineering (MBA preferred). Working knowledge of SAP MM.
