Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:



To execute and co-ordinate all electrical jobs related to projects.

KEY ACTIVITIES:



SAFETY :

Ensure adhearence to all applicable safety standards/procedures by sub-ordinates/contract employees.

Implement all Du Pont safety initiatives. Safety audit.

Ensuring presence of all safety supervisors in all shutdown jobs. Implement total safety at work sites as per Company's norms.

Implement safety management, review progress, develop approaches to sustain and improve the system. Ensure S.M.F. and E.A.I.S. training as and when required.

Improve the effectiveness of shop floor training by introducing visual S.O.P.'s with complete involvement of shop floor people.

Ensure a safer working environment for men and material.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY :

Preparation / operation of foreign and indegenous contract specifications for execution of projects.

Selection of various sub-vendors, equipment suppliers, errection and commissioning contractors.

Creation of Unique Identification number, Service number, Purchase requisition in SAP. Techno-commercial evaluation of bids and selection of vendors. Proper and timely approval of vendors drawings.

Organising discussions, progress reviews and follow up for timely delivery. Erection planning, scheduling & progress monitoring , de-bottlenecking of site activities. Checking of contractor's work & monitoring quality of sub-contractor's w

ork. Proper interaction with operating departments for execution of Project activities. Interaction with consultants and vendors for timely completion.

Measurement and certification of vendor's / contractor's bill.

Creation of service entry sheet in SAP.

PEOPLE :

Create an ambience of high level of innovation and implementation.

Drive, review and monitor continuous improvement initiatives.

Initiate action for professional development of employees.

Skill enhancement of people.

END RESULTS:



Zero fatality. Reduction in L.T.I.F.

Timely completion of projects within schedule / budget and handing over to the operating department.

Desired Profile

Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engg. (equivalent) with five / seven years experience in Project Electrical Activities or Process Plant maintenance will be an added advantage.

Experience in PLC, DCS,AC & DC DRIVES, HT (Upto 33 KV) and LT equipments will be preferred.



Must be able to study electrical/electronic drawings.

Acumen to learn SAP , MS Project and AUTO-CAD will be preferred.



Fluency in computer applications like MS-Office (MS WORD, MS EXCEL, MS POWER POINT etc.) is a must.

To achieve availability of Crushing Plants and conveyor systems at desired levels of production targets and cost.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

Develop annual maintenance plan (TBM, CBM, Daily Management , etc.) in line with departmental A.B.P.

Spares planning and inventory management in line with maintenance planning.

Compliance of maintenance plan and ensure health and upkeep of Equipment.

Resource utilization (Man, Machine and Material) to minimize down time and improve reliability.

Regular tracking of K.P.I's and ensure its compliance as per plan.

Compliance to Safety and Environment standards as per Company's guidelines.

# EXPERIENCE IN MAINTENANCE & UPKEEP OF MECHANICAL EQUIPMENTS, e.g. BELT CONVEYORS, CRUSHERS, VIBRATING SCREENS, PUMPS, BLOWERS, DEWATERING EQUIPMENTS , COMPRESSORS ETC.

# SHOULD HAVE GOOD KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE OF LUBRICATION, PHNEUMATICS & HYDRAULICS.

# CONVERSENT WITH SAP PLANNED MAINT. MODULE FOR PLANNING AND COMPLIANCE TRACKING OF DIFFERENT MAINT. ACTIVITIES.

# KNOWLEDGE OF DAILY MANAGEMENT & CONDITION BASED MAINT.
